Include the product to be packed, preferred format, approximate quantity, material or barrier target, dimensions, artwork status, filling process and destination market. If some inputs are unknown, identify them and ask the supplier to state assumptions and options in the quotation.

Sample options depend on the product, structure, print status and project stage. Ask for the sample type you need so availability, cost, freight and whether it represents the final specification can be confirmed.

Lead time is project-specific and should be confirmed in the quotation after the material, dimensions, artwork, proof or sample path, quantity and production requirements are reviewed.

The quotation should state price basis, payment terms, tooling or cylinder charges, sample costs, production timing and delivery scope. Ask sales to confirm every term in writing for the specific order.
